De band Yendis uit Duitsland
is een trio bestaande uit “Doctor Jane” (akoestische gitaar, bass, banjo
en vocals), “Dirty Harry” (viool, gitaar, banjo en vocals) en “Chris Beam”
(drums).
Op deze cd staan 13 werken waarvan 12 covernummers en één instrumentaal
nummer dat is geschreven door Dirty Harry of te wel "Harald Schulze".
Nummer zeven op de cd is een medley van de Orange Blossom Special, Roll On
(Eighteen Wheeler), Cotton Eyed Joe en If You`re Gonna Play In Texas. De
medley begint met een mooi stukje vioolspel, gemixt met een strakke drum
waarna de vocals van Harry en Jane invallen, opvallend gedaan en goed in
elkaar gemixt.
De cd is opgenomen en gemixed door Harald Schulze in de "Yendis" studio te
Zülpich 2008/2009. |

Yendis: "Country at Its
Best"
The German formation Yendis - featuring 'Doctor Jane' (acoustic guitar,
bass, banjo and vocals), 'Dirty Harry' (violin, banjo and vocals) and
'Chris Beam' (drums) has released a new album "Country At Its Best". The
album features 12 cover songs and one instrumental track written by Dirty
Harry, aka Harald Schulze. Track seven is a medley of Orange Blossom
Special, Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler), Cotton Eyed Joe and If You're Gonna
Play in Texas. The medley starts off impressively with Dirty Harry on the
violin, later the drums join in and finally the voices of Harry and Jane.
It is all mixed together very well.
The CD has been recorded and mixed by Harald Schulze in the "Yendis"
studio in Zülpich 2008/2009.
